Below are some caricatures all of which were produced in photoshop and painter.
The process I used was to start out with photographs and scale them to my needs. I then used Photoshops liquify tool to warp the celebrities into caracture versions of themselves.
Finally I used this image as a base to create the final artwork in Painter.
